Haha... I hate the fact that i've been forgetting all about the blog. It's summer, can you blame me? There just isn't a Lee behind me to tell me that I need to post!
So here's a quick update post:
- Had a job
- Quit that job
- Have another job
- Want more hours so looking for a second job
How awesome is that?
Something interesting happened to me today though; which is what is pushing me towards posting something today. About 2 weeks ago I walked into a Caffe Demetre because outside it said that they were hiring. Had an interview and the manager said that they liked me but had to make sure I can serve alcohol at 18. So I called back today because I hadn't heard back from him.
"Hi, my name's Rebecca Lam. Can I speak to the manager please?"
"Speaking"
"I came in about 2 weeks ago and you said you had to look up if I could serve alcohol at 18..."
"We don't serve alcohol here"
"This is the Eglinton location right?"
"Yes"
"I talked to this east-indian man..."
"I'm sorry but I don't know who you're talking about"
... What the?!
Who did I talk to?!
So confused...
